With an NEA Survey Grant the Museum of New Mexico organized twelve photographers for the New Mexico Photographic Survey, published as “The Essential Landscape” by University of New Mexico Press. The following year the Texas Historical Foundation organized photographers for the Texas Sesquicentennial Survey, published as “Contemporary Texas: A Photographic Portrait” by Texas Monthly Press.
